Albany International Airport Security Checkpoint Expansion "D" Concourse was an 18,000 sf renovation and 5,000 sf addition within a high traffic, highly secured area. It was the first undertaking in the Airport since the terrorist attacks of September 11th. AOW was critical in coordinating this construction within the parameters dictated by a bustling airport concerned about passenger and airline safety.
Albany International Airport – Escalator in Albany, NY
Albany International Airport Escalator was a $1.9 million renovation involving the replacement of escalators with interior modifications to the baggage claim and airline customer service areas. Construction was held to a higher standard to maintain separation between the general contractors and pre-boarding public. Most of the work had to be coordinated after all planes had been grounded for the day.
